What Do You See?

When you look at me, what do you see?

A woman with many talents and accomplishments?

Or is burdened with many responsibilities?

A woman who is independent and prideful?

Or who is still willing to depend on others for help and humble?

A woman who is easy to talk to?

Or who would like to be heard more?

A woman who is shy and to herself?

Or who is very observant with many thoughts?

Or when not to engage in meaningless conversation or events?

A woman who is physically transparent but it’s unrecognized?

Or who is just moody, ungrateful, should smile and be happy all the time?

A woman who is going the extra mile to help others?

Or who is somewhere in a ditch waiting for someone to even notice?

A woman who is mean and unapproachable?

Or someone that only looks that way because she is focused and driven and about to get things done?

A woman who doesn’t care or stops to reach out?

Or someone who always reaches out but it’s never reciprocated?

Or who stops putting in the effort to save herself from continuous heartache?

A woman who may momentarily wear a smile?

Or a girl who wears a mask only to mask the tears?

A woman who wants to share and talk?

Or who puts self aside to listen to others?

A woman who gracefully gives?

Or who waits and waits to receive the same level of support?
